Audrey's 1st Birthday

Audrey's birthday was a good one! It was nice enough to have it outside at our clubhouse patio. Meagan came as well as Kristin, Ryan, Morgan, Brandon, Aunt Mary, and Don and Julie.



Kids are never quite sure what to do when a burning candle is placed before them! Tim helped blow out her #1 candle.

It took her a moment but she soon dug in!



It was a hard decision but we finally all agreed on caterpillar cupcakes.
With the help of Cambria and her cousins she got all her presents opened and was delighted with each.
So we showed her how to rip and open wrapped presents, now we will have to make sure she doesn't open the Christmas presents before Christmas!

She got a baby from Aunt Mary and loved holding it! It was a very happy day for a happy girl!

She has finally got two teeth. They came shortly after her birthday. One on top and one on bottom.

House Hunting

An update on our house hunting. The house I loved and could have moved into tomorrow is gone. It was a short sale and forclosed and went to the bank then went back for short sale and got 13 offers on it. Very sad but I guess if it was the house for us we would have gotten it. So we looked at 7 more and have just put an offer on 3. Two are short sales and one is being sold by the builder we shall see how these three or just the one go and see if we are done looking or if we need to keep searching.

Locked in

So yesterday I was doing laundry and Audrey kept closing the door on me and I would open it and keep going with laundry. We did this a few times then she shut it again and I finished putting the clothes in the washer and was ready to come out. She had locked me in by opening one of the kitchen drawers. There was no way I was getting out. Luckily I had my phone and Tim was just minutes from coming home for lunch. He came home and let me out. My other option had he not been coming home would have been to yell for Cambria. She was playing with her friend Anna and who knows when she would have heard me. I am so glad I was not in there for very long and now I made sure I will not get locked in again!!!

Half Marathon

I think this might be our last race for the year! Here we are all smiley before our half marathon in Pocatello, Idaho. It was me and Meagan's first and Launi's second.
I felt so nervous and could not believe that I was actually going to run 13.2 miles. What was I thinking. We met at Ross Park and the bussed us to the starting point (the half way point of the full marathon). I really got sick and nervous as they took us clear out by the Inkom blue tower. Not only did i do a first of running a half marathon but also I ran the first two miles strait! Thanks Launi for running by me. Then me and Meg ran together for the rest of it. Actually Meagan ran back to me, waited for me and pushed me!! Thanks Meg for helping me finish. At about mile 6 or 7 i was ready to be done and couldn't believe how much more we had to go. My inner right thigh hurt, below my knee caps hurt, the bottoms of my feet were hot, and I could feel a blister forming on each foot. Over all it wasn't anything that killed me and we'll see if I ever do another one.
So at the end Meagan started sprinting and I couldn't let her leave me in the dust right at the very end so the race was on.
Here we are as the Terrific Trio after the race is over and we are still able to smile! We should have had a picture of us dead on the ground!! And another picture of our husbands cheering us on from the sidelines!! Thanks to all for helping me accomplish something I never thought I would do or could do! My finishing time was 2:40:46.1 I beat Meagan her time was 2:40:47.1!!!!

Spudman 2009

Another Spudman race in Burley, Idaho has been done!! (i just got all my pictures so this post is a little dated) The Spudman is a triathlon and starts out with the mile swim then the 26 mile bike ride and lastly a 6 mile run. This year we went as teams. Neal and Tim were a team with tim starting out with the swim and Neal biking and Tim running. Me, Meagan and Launi decided to enter and try it out this year. I did the swim, Launi bike, and Meagan run.

Here is Tim before he starts. He accidently got put in the elite group instead of the team group and really pushed himself to keep up and did awesome with a 18 min mile.
He jogged back the mile to watch me start my swim. My plan was to start after everyone else so that I wouldn't get kicked or pushed. It worked out wonderfuly and I finished in 22 min. Next year I want to get a different wet suit. I rented this one and it was choking me and I didn't like having the full arms, it was really hard to do my strokes. It was way fun though and not as hard as I thought it would be.

Neal did awesome on the bike he is in the red and white and has been doing a lot of biking lately. He just finished the lotaja this past weekend with a team and wants to try it next year by himself. Amazing!!
Launi did awesome for our group with her bike. Here she is coming into the finish to switch off her timing bracelet to Meagan. She also said it was way fun and we are hoping to do it again next year!!

Tim ran for he and Neal's group. He doesn't mind running but finds it a little difficult to run when it is so hot and the course runs through a beat field!!
Meg did our running and it was her first time running that far. She was tired when she came in but did and awesome time. She said she will not run through water next time! She got cold as it dried off!!

Here we all are as Spudman Champs!! it was great fun that we all participated in it together and lived to tell about it! We will probably continue to enter through the years! (mainly because of the awesome t-shirt!!)

Grace 5K

Me, Meg and Launi decided to do another 5K. This time it was the Grace one during fair week. It was a lot of fun, a lot because we knew people! Had we not already signed up I don't believe any of us would have participated because of the weather. It was very cold and sprinkled and rained on us the whole time. Here is Me and Meagan coming in to the finish line. Launi is not with us because she finished before us!!

The Terrific Trio at it once again!! You never know what you can accomplish until you try!
