My 29th birthday

So for my birthday Meagan came and got my kids after school and took them to her house for the weekend. Tim and I worked out together Friday and on Saturday we went to Park City shopping, to the mall where I got an awesome deal on new pants, out to eat at the Cheese Cake factory and to a 10:00 pm movie. It was great having some time to ourselves even though we missed the girls. I definitely think every three months we may have to have Meg take our girls so we can reconnect with each other and hear each other talk! Sunday we went to Megs and had an awesome birthday dinner and cake with my parents, and Doug and Kristin's family. Afterwards my parents took me and the girls to Grace with them to spend the week.

Having fun with Aunt Meagan

For my 29th birthday, Meagan took my kids for the weekend! It was great fun to spend some time with Tim! She took them to a park and to a fun kids museum in Ogden, here are some pictures of their fun adventures!

Swimming lesson

Cambria went to two sessions of swimming lessons and really improved and did so well with learning the swimming strokes, breathing out her nose, and side breathing! She had a fun time and it was great to be able to swim during the winter in a warm indoor pool!! Now we just need to wait for the weather to warm up to go to our apartment pool!!

Up to date

Here is a little update on things that are happening in our lives. We are still looking for a house. Tim took over for a few months and went out on his own with our agent. We also went last Thursday and looked at 4, non that were "the one". Our lease ends this month so we will be signing either a 5 month (if they will let us) or a 6 month, which will put us at the end of September.
Tim has been job searching for a while and has had a few interviews. A hopefully promising job could be with Goldman Sachs. One day he had his first interview which turned out to be three (while me and the girls were waiting in the car in the parking lot for 2 hours)(excuse for missing work... doctor appointments, why so long? traffic, pharmacy). Then a week and a half later he was scheduled for four (excuse for missing work... sick - felt better that afternoon). Yesterday he had his last interview on the phone (excuse for missing work... he took it during his lunch hour). All have gone really well he thinks, now we just have to wait and see what happens!
Cambria got accepted into a charter school for kindergarten and Tim couldn't be more excited. He is the one who took care of it all, I was OK with a traditional public school. We signed her up and she now has a spot but we will see if we end up finding a house in that area.
I took my girls to the apartment playground last week and it was great! It was fun to hear their laughter and see their bright smiling faces at being outside! Cambria made a friend right a way and played with him for a little while. They were making dirt piles and I overheard some of their conversation. She was telling him that Jesus and Heavenly Father made the earth and everything on it, but on Sunday they took a break! Audrey smiled and said hi to everyone she saw and of course they smiled and said hi back. We truly should be like little children!!! (and what great children I am lucky to have!!!)

Hair cuts by Peggy

It was time for hair cuts, I got us all in with Peggy while we were in Grace. Cambria's hair was getting really long which I loved and thought was so pretty. She told Peggy how much she wanted off and then told her more after she cut that off. It is still medium length and is way cute on her and looks a lot healthier!
Audrey got her first hair cut and some of her baby curls cut off. Peggy is so good to put them in an envelope and write the date on it. I was a little worried about how Audrey would do but she sat as still as a statue and was a very good girl!!!

Peggy has cut four generations of hair in my family. My grandma Ruth used to get her hair cut every Friday (and Peggy fixed it for her funeral) My mom gets hers cut every Thursday. She has cut my hair since I've had hair and now my two girls!!
