Pool Fun

While Tim and I were in Burley for the Spudman, our girls stayed with Tim's mom Julie. We met them in Pocatello the next day at Dusty and Megan's new place. They had a pool and our girls had a blast playing there!

It was a pretty cool day and the water in the pool was straight from the hose so it was a little cold, ok a lot cold but kids will be kids and they will play no matter what!!

Spudman

This was Tim's 4th year doing the Burley Spudman. He likes it for the fact that he has something to train for! He did the mile swim and the 6 mile run on he and Neal's team.

Here I am getting out of the Snake River after my mile swim. I try and remind myself that it is only 20 minutes!!

Yea we did it, finished and did not drown!!!

It's all about the quick exchange time! Neal did awesome this year and cut a couple of minutes off his time from last year!!

And he's off! I took a lot of pictures this year of about everything!

Defiantly have to have smiles when your all done!! And then back to being a dad instead of a cyclist!

Doug and Morgan are checking out the feather light bike. Neal will probably convince Doug he needs a bike!!

Mom and Chache! He likes his mom and dad and isn't always thrilled to be away from them!

Doug brought his kids up to see us all race. Morgan and Brandon may be eying the mile swim!

Dad did awesome this year!! He said he was passing people left and right! Launi was right there waiting for him to take the timing chip!

And off she goes! She has done a few half marathons and the ragnar and had some knee trouble but found taping it really well for this race helped a ton and had no pain!

There she goes! She has done the spudman a few times but had never done the running part before. She said she liked it!

What an awesome family!!!

So Tim and I had to be at the river by ourselves and we weren't sure where to put our keys since we were only wearing wetsuits. The keys ended up being put in our gas cap and when we were all done with our race we came back and couldn't open it again. We all tried banging and pounding on it but it was not budging. I had a second set of keys at Neal's house, my dad went to get them and when we unlocked our door the gas cap popped open. OOPS!
