Thanksgiving in Bryce Canyon

We had a different Thanksgiving this year as we went to Bryce Canyon and stayed for a few nights!

Cambria is not in my pictures cause she went with Nick in his car. It was a little cold but beautiful views!

Audrey was loving it and had a great time! Tim had to stay back because he couldn't get work off, but next year we are planning on going again so he has plenty of time to get it schedualed!

We went to Bryce because someone on my dads side of the family had a great deal to stay in Bryce because it is not tourist season and then his cousins cattered the thanksgiving meal and it was wonderful! My girls had a great time staying in a hotel room and we only had a few incidents, one with Audrey accidently locking the bathroom door after she came out and one with me losing our room key in the hot tub after the wind blew it in!

Some great views of Bryce Canyon.  We didn't  hike because it was too cold and too  muddy, but the over looks were great!

The next day we all went hiking in Zions National Park. It was beautiful weather and a beautiful hike!

I took a pack to carry Audrey in but she proved to be too heavy and did a pretty good job walking. Uncle Doug did carry her for a little while!

Here are the brave ones who continued the hike to the top of Angles landing, there were a lot of switch backs and so Laura and I decided to take the kids back down.

The kids had a great time on the way down exploring and checking things out and just being silly!

Cambria Winter Program

Cambria had her first grade winter program in November and it was absolutely adorable!! My parents were able to come and watch and it was a delightful program!!

This boy Tate was a little bit of a bother to Cambria but he had to be her partner because they were both the tallest in their homeroom class. She couldn't wait for it to be over to get away from him!

She is looking a little relaxed here!!

One of her classmates was gone so she had to fill in on a few other dances with a Junior High boy. She thought it was fine and didn't make a big deal out of it!

Here she is with her partner. She's a little reluctant to smile because she is still missing 8 teeth!

First Day of Snow!!!

What a FUN day!!!! We couldn't believe how much it snowed in November!!

The girls had soo much fun, it was their first snowday in our new house and now animal droppings to worry about about just plain snow fun!!

Next time it snows enough we will make a snowman!
