Summer project-kitchen table

 

Nick and Laura purchased a new kitchen table and then were so kind to give us their old one!  It works perfect for our family and like I do to everything I had to refinish it!  I sanded it down and applied a Java Gel stain and then 3 coats of polyurethane!  We kept our old table and put it away in the garage and then we are using our four chair and the new set of four chair so I had eight awful chair to refinish and two bar stools that my neighbor Tiffany gave us.  I am glad that project is over!!! Next time we need a bigger table I am buying one!!

Car Mat

 

For Beck’s first birthday I made him a car mat and a race car mat!  I had so much fun making it and yes I know he won’t even like it for a few more years!  Oh well that's ok cause it turned out way cute!!

My little boy is kind of a woose at somethings!  We got this cute pool out (that used to be Cambria’s) and filled it with water and put it in the shade on a hot day and he didn’t like it one bit!  We did get him to smile a few times but they were short lived!  Maybe next year! 

The dentist

Audrey got her thumb sucking retainer on and quit the day it went on!!!  I got a wisdom tooth pulled that had decided to come down.  Everyone was pretty grossed out because it was black but my wonderful brother-dentist (who pretty much knows my medical history) explained it was that way because of some ache medicine I had taken! I still have one more if it ever decides to show its self!

My dad is so fun with the grandkids he can always get the best laughs out of them.  Audrey and Hyram are doing what they know best… playing on an electronic device!  

Swimming lessons

Our second year at the Shaw’s swimming pool for lessons!  The teachers are great and my girls learn a lot!

I love it when my girls get along!  They are spending the night together in the ladybug tent!!

Father’s Day

All Tim really wanted for Father’s day was to have all the lights off, watch a football game,  and have it quiet! So for all of that to happen me and the kids had to leave!  We had a great time walking around the Draper temple and then we went on a short little hike on a trail we discovered by the temple!

We went to my friend Mandy’s kid Madden’s 2nd birthday party at Wheeler Farm and got to feed the birds while we were there.  Audrey of course had a great time and Beck was in awe of these feathery friends that came up close!
