I don't know how much is really getting cleaned but he is really liking pushing the mop around! I am always one to encourage kids working and helping around the house!!
It seems I always have a project going on! I love them though and I love the improvements it makes! So Tim and I are not a honey oak fan and decided to redo our kitchen cabinets. I obviously just left everything in the cupboards, which worked out great! I will say I didn't realize how much it would bug me not to be able to close the door when they weren't there!
I used a Gel stained named Java and did three coats on everything. I had the cabinets out in the garage on tables and used some yellow risers I'll call them so the cabinets didn't stick to the plastic on the tables. November 13-December 4, 2013
Tim was great to help take them off and put them on. I did a lot of work while Beck was napping and after he went to bed so the areas I did inside could dry overnight. Then I added 3 coats of polyurethane. We also bought a new microwave and and put it above the stove! That cleared up counter space for more useless things! I love the way it all turned out the dramatic change it made! It was over all a very inexpensive update! Next is new counter tops, a new stove to match everything else, tile back splash and if I can talk Tim into it canned lights and pendent lights!
Me and my neighbor Cherry went for a walk and put both of our boys in the stroller together! They were so good except for Beck taking AJ's Binky every now and then! Sitting in the stroller for a walk is hard work obviously!!
