Cambria's 5th Birthday Party

We had a color party theme for Cambria so we got her an easel that has a marker board, chalk board and a role of paper. I drew a little surprise on the marker board side for her.
Audrey loved the cake!
Doug and Kristin, Ryan, Morgan and Brandon came as well as Meagan and Natalie.

So at first she was kind of like thanks for the gift but really wanted to check out the other presents. This was a better reaction from last years present. I am adding a picture because the face is worth a thousand words and this pictures says it all!
Classic!! What is this and why did I get it for my birthday? Let me just explain a little. I had a Cabbage Patch when I was her age and so I thought she would like one too. After a few weeks she kind of played with it. I also love Brandon's face in the background!!

I am learning new cooking things all the time! I saw this cake on line and thought I could do it. I could only put it in the fridge because of lack of room in the freezer and later found out it needs to go in the freezer so that it cuts crisp. It is supposed to be a painters pallet! Happy Birthday Cambria!

Polar Express Train Ride

Cambria has wanted to ride a train for a while so Tim found out about the Heber Valley Railroad and that they do a Polar Express Train ride. It worked out that we were able to go on Cambria's birthday! She loved it and had a great time. We had two elves for our train car and they came and asked the kids names so I told them it was Cambria's birthday and later our whole train car sang happy birthday to her! The elves brought us cookies and hot chocolate and asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas. Later we followed along as our story teller read aloud the Polar Express book. Mrs Santa made her way through all the train cars and we soon approached the North Pole where we looked out and saw santa. This whole time we were going backwards and at the North Pole the engine switched to the front and santa got on the train with us. He came and met all the kids and gave them a special Christmas bell that they could only hear as long as they believed! On our way back to the train station we sang Christmas carols and had a great time over all!

Waiting for the train to start.

My mom and dad came as well as Meagan and Ryan.

Audrey wasn't to sure about Santa.

Cambria thought it was great but was expecting the train to go a little faster! She didn't know it was the Heper Creeper!!

Temple Square Christmas lights

Sunday evening we took the girls down town to check out the lights. We had lots of ooh and aahs from both. It was a very pretty night! Lots of other people had the same idea!

Halloween

We had a fun halloween party again this year at Kristin's parents house. We had dinner and fun treats and then got dressed up to hit the awesome neighborhood!
Here are all the fun kids we went trick or treating with. Brady and Mckenzi, Audrey and Cambria, Ryan Morgan and Brandon, Rylee and Carter.
Tim decided he had better man the fort with Doug and answer the door for other trick or treaters (and there was a football game on that he really wanted to watch)

Audrey caught on to the getting candy from the bowl we had by the door. Why go out when you have candy right here!

She was a super cute parrot this year!
Cambria wanted to be a beautiful Snowflake Fairy! (her costume only stayed on through two trips on the side walk and then it had to come off because she wasn't figuring out how to run and hold her dress up!)
Squak Audrey wants some candy Squak

Pumpkin Patch

Me and the girls found a fun pumpkin patch this year and had a great time choosing. There were so many and rows and rows to look through.

There was a cute red tractor for perfect photo opportunities!
Audrey was having a great time trying to pick her own pumpkin. She did have a hard tim walking on the rough ground!

My cute pumpkins!!!

Cambria found some of the best pumpkins! When it came to carving though she was a fair weather friend. She did not like getting the slim out. I ended up carving all of our pumpkins.
Overall it was a fun trip and we will be visiting that pumpkin patch again next year!!

Corn Maze at Thanksgiving Point

Johnson Family Photo. Doug, Brandon, Ryan, Kristin, Morgan
Reno Family
The kids got balloon creations, Morgan got a poodle and Cambria a princess crown.
Brandon was the girls pumpkin coach driver.
The girls got to put princess dresses on and pretend to take a ride in a coach!

This was Doug and Kristin's first corn maze. Here we are trying to figure out clues and work our way out.
Some how Cambria was lucky enough to get a ride from Uncle Doug. What a nice brother and Uncle!

We took the umbrella stroller but quickly found out it was not for off roading in the corn maze!
It did help out a few times but Audrey had quite a bumpy ride!
There were fun things for the kids to do. Brandon and Cambria had fun pumping water to make their ducks move.
The kids thought it was fun to sit on a gigantic rocking chair!
Can't really say much for the cuteness of that picture!

Octoberfest 10K

This is my last race for the season. It was a fun one in Highland, Utah and somehow I talked Kristin to join us and Meagan talked Ryan into participating! I do believe that a 10k is a long enough race and half marathons may be a thing of the past!

Hogle Zoo

Audrey's first time at the zoo and I believe she liked it! We had to go and check out all the new babies! We saw a baby elephant, giraffe, and tried to see a baby tiger but it was snoozing somewhere.
